Field Notes

What we observed. What surprised us. What it might mean.

Field Notes brings together observations, questions and lessons about emerging technology in everyday life and work.

Start with our first note, “Beyond the demonstration: what people need around technology.” It introduces the Human Readiness questions that guide our work.

We explore autonomous systems, living alongside robots, AI agents and the human conditions around adoption. Each note distinguishes observations from interpretation, with context, limits and questions still open.

What changed for the person using the technology? Where did judgment matter? What made a mistake easier to notice or recover from? What should we explore next?
